Good ideas
deserve to look like it.
A private 90 minute production session with the person who shoots, lights, cuts, and grades every frame at Kaleidoscope Scent Index. Bring your camera, your room, your footage, or your timeline. We fix what is actually holding the work back.

The Session
Not a gear review.
A working session.
David is Creative Director of Production at Kaleidoscope Scent Index. Every shoot, every series, every frame people have watched more than 45 million times came out of his camera and his timeline, built in a single room on a real budget against real deadlines.
Most people do not have a taste problem. They have a lighting problem, a lens problem, an audio problem, or a pacing problem, and nobody has ever told them which one it is. In 90 minutes David watches your work, looks at your setup, and tells you exactly where it is losing.
We go through camera, light, sound, edit, color, and workflow. You get a plan for your space and your budget rather than a list of expensive things to buy.
What's Included
Ninety minutes.
On the real footage.
Setup Audit
Camera body, lens, lights, mics, room. We go through what you already own, what is genuinely limiting your footage, and what would fix it for the smallest amount of money.
Lighting
Key, fill, separation, practicals, modifiers, and how to build a look that survives a phone screen. This is the single biggest jump most people can make in one afternoon.
Camera & Framing
Settings, frame rate, shutter, picture profile, focus, lens choice, composition, and the difference between movement that adds something and movement that just looks busy.
Sound
Mic choice and placement, room treatment, levels, and cleanup in post. Bad audio loses an audience faster than bad picture ever will, and it is usually the cheapest thing to fix.
Editing & Pacing
Assembly, cut rhythm, hooks, coverage, b roll, text and motion, sound design, and finding the exact second where a piece starts losing people.
Color
Correction before grade, matching shots across a shoot, building a look you can repeat, and keeping skin tones honest instead of orange.
Workflow
File structure, proxies, backups, project templates, presets, and how to stop a one day shoot from turning into a week of post every single time.
Your Next Shoot
You leave with a shot plan, a lighting diagram for your space, a gear list scoped to your budget if you need one, and specific changes to make the next time you press record.
Who This Is For
Anyone whose footage
is behind their ideas.
The Creator
Your ideas are good and your delivery is good, but the footage looks like a phone on a stack of books and you cannot work out why it never looks like the accounts you admire.
The Brand
You produce in house, or you are about to, and you need the output to look consistent and intentional across every product, every campaign, and every person who touches the camera.
The Shooter Or Editor
You already know the tools. You want a second set of eyes on your setup, your cut, or your grade from someone producing at volume rather than teaching from theory.
What To Bring
Come with the real thing.

David takes a limited number of private sessions around the KSI production schedule. This is not a course and it is not a prerecorded program. We screen share, open your files, and work on the actual thing for the full 90 minutes.
Book Your SessionThe Other Half
Strategy is the other session.
David makes it look right. Eric works on what you are making and why anyone should care. Some people need one, plenty of people need both, and you can book them separately.
