Saffron, nutmeg and a dried fruit accord open rich, orris butter with rose de mai and jasmine sambac form a leathery floral heart, and oud palao, patchouli, sandalwood and tonka bean close it.

KSI Take: The oud is treated as a French perfumery material rather than a Middle Eastern centrepiece, so it reads polished where you might expect raw. Expensive smelling and genuinely complex, but the orris keeps it cool and formal, which will not suit everyone.
