A single flash of grapefruit gives way to rose absolute and geranium, then saffron, black pepper and oud pull the whole thing down into sandalwood, amber and vanilla.

KSI Take: Warmer and sweeter than the usual rose and oud pairing, with saffron doing most of the interesting work. Excellent in cold weather, heavy enough to be a poor choice in August.
