Saffron and pelargonium open with a medicinal, slightly dry sharpness that agarwood, rose and Atlas cedarwood pull toward a darker, rosier heart. Leather, incense and guaiac wood close it out smoky, dry and resinous.

KSI Take: This is a straightforward rose oud that reads clearly synthetic rather than an original composition, sitting close to the Montale style of oud fragrances with nothing here that has not been done before in that genre. Longevity is genuinely excellent, easily past twelve hours, so wear it when you want a smoky, projecting oud for cold weather rather than something subtle.
