Bergamot and apricot open into ripe, leathery osmanthus, a rare floral that reads more like fruit and suede than a typical flower. Thai, Cambodian and Indian oud, rose, sandalwood and incense build a smoky, resinous drydown with dried fruit and tobacco still audible underneath.

KSI Take: This works if you want an oud with a fruity, floral center rather than a dry, austere one, though that same sweetness will disappoint anyone looking for a harsher, more medicinal oud experience. Longevity runs well past twelve hours as an extrait, so a little goes a long way and it wears best in cooler weather where the fruit does not turn cloying.
