Elemi resin gives a sparkling, peppery lift up top while saffron pushes the leather side of the oud forward. Atlas cedar and a clean patchouli hold it down through a warm, honeyed drydown.

KSI Take: This is Kurkdjian's answer to oud for people who normally find the note too raw or barnyard, though the trade off is a composition too polite and one dimensional for oud purists who want more grit. Wear it in cooler months, in the evening, close to the skin, since projection is moderate and it does most of its work at skin contact rather than across a room.
