Atlantic algae, laminaria and a kombu tincture open with a sharp, briny, almost iodine like chill instead of the usual fresh marine cliche. Amyris, styrax and nagarmotha lead into a base of Malaysian oud, ambergris, beeswax and vetiver that turns dark and resinous rather than airy.
