Black pepper, rum and roasted tobacco warmed with caramel.
Liquorice, ginger, black pepper and rum open warm and a little sharp, with tobacco arriving quickly and turning roasty rather than raw. Caramel, vanilla, benzoin, amber and cedarwood settle it into a sweet, smoky drydown that leans closer to a lit cigar dipped in spirits than straight gourmand.
Perfumed by: Amandine Galliano
KSI Take: It sits close to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille in shape but wears lighter and less syrupy, a plus if that fragrance always felt like too much but a letdown if you specifically want that density. Wear it in cold weather, in the evening, where the tobacco and caramel read rich without tipping into cloying, and expect the sillage to match rather than exceed its more famous reference point.
