Aldehydes, brown sugar and coffee give the opening a genuine jolt of bitterness and sweetness together before coconut milk, cocoa and heliotrope thicken it into a creamy gourmand heart. Labdanum, amber, sandalwood and vanilla close it out dense and sweet, closer to condensed milk than to fresh cream.

KSI Take: The coffee and brown sugar opening is well done and genuinely distinct, but the drydown tips into an overly lactonic, cloying sweetness that a spicier or woodier base would have balanced better. Wear it in cold weather when you want a loud, dessert leaning gourmand, and expect strong projection and long wear, since this is not a scent that fades politely.
