Sambac jasmine absolute, built out into a full Arabian composition.

Bergamot, cardamom and clove open it with spice rather than sweetness, a rose accord layers Taif, Bulgarian and Azerbaijani varieties around Arabian and Indian jasmine, and the base runs saffron and white ambergris through Indian and Indonesian sandalwood with Thai and Indian agarwood.

KSI Take: The jasmine is the headline but the rose stack is what makes it, three origins doing work that a single rose could not. Sandalwood and agarwood keep it from turning soapy or thin, which is where most jasmine soliflores fall apart. Substantial rather than pretty, and priced accordingly.
