Tart pineapple and grapefruit thrown against a wall of incense smoke.
The opening is the whole trick: juicy pineapple and bitter grapefruit sitting directly on top of dense smoke, with no attempt to blend them. Olibanum, Atlas cedar and clary sage take the middle, and leather, patchouli and tonka close it out ashy and dry.
Perfumed by: Nicolas Bonneville
Released: 2022
KSI Take: That fruit against smoke contrast is genuinely unusual and worth smelling even if you do not buy it, a tribute to Jim Morrison that actually earns the reference. The catch is that the fruit burns off inside half an hour and what remains is a competent ashy leather, so most of what you are paying for happens early; wear it out at night.
