Cassis, nutmeg and davana open bright and a little tart before rose, geranium and jasmine settle into a full floral heart. Saffron, amber and sandalwood take over underneath and keep the drydown warm and resinous.

KSI Take: A properly built amber rose from a Brazilian pharmacy house most collectors have never sampled, and at 2ml it is an inexpensive way to try a Quentin Bisch composition. The saffron and nutmeg keep the florals from going powdery, though anyone expecting a bright modern rose should know this one leans dusky and warm rather than sparkling.
