It opens sharp and almost antiseptic, built around a camphoric, petrol like leather accord over Nootka cypress. Patchouli, goldenwood and vetiver settle it into a dry, smoky leather that barely shifts once it calms down.

KSI Take: The opening is genuinely unpleasant if you expect a soft designer leather, closer to a band aid than a jacket, and this is a poor pick for anyone who wants something easy or crowd pleasing. Give it fifteen minutes to settle, wear it in cold weather where the leather reads dark rather than sharp, and expect only soft to medium projection over six to eight hours.
