Black pepper and a bright, almost dripping cherry note open it before a duo of Turkish and Bulgarian rose adds a honeyed, floral middle. Cedar, patchouli and vetiver anchor a dusky, animalic leather and oud base that closes it out dark and resinous.

KSI Take: The move from bright cherry to dusky leather and oud is genuinely well built, but the base is polarizing enough that one longtime reviewer said they could not stand having it anywhere near them for days. Sample it before committing to a full bottle at this price, and know the cherry fades fast into a base that leans far more animalic and oud heavy than the fruity name implies.
