Red berries and mandarin give a brief bright lift before orris root takes over and never leaves. Mimosa, cacao pod, amber and vanilla warm the powder through the heart, and musk, Virginia cedar and patchouli hold a soft, rooty base that stays close to the skin.

KSI Take: Running orris through top, heart and base is expensive and it shows, the iris here has real carrot root depth rather than the thin violet powder most iris fragrances deliver. It is also quietly linear by design, so anyone expecting a journey will find it static. Cool weather, close wear.
