Poet’s Potion opens on glowing elemi, basil and pink pepper berries, green and balsamic with a herbal sharpness that never turns fresh. The heart lights pipe tobacco through myrrh and frankincense, softened by dark honey and earthy Indian patchouli. It dries down to dense, bitter aged vanilla wrapped in amber resin, Cambodian oud and birch.

KSI Take: Bohemian, sensual and a little unruly, like ink stained fingers and the last curl of smoke in a late night room. The vanilla reads bitter rather than sweet, so reach for it on cold evenings rather than summer afternoons.
