Calabrian bergamot, cardamom and clove leaf open bright and spiced. Gurjun balsam takes the heart with cinnamon, ylang-ylang, ruh khus vetiver and green tea, carrying a maritime saltiness most ambers never have, and copaiba, tolu and Peru balsam close it with an amber accord, Siam oud and labdanum.

KSI Take: Building an amber out of four separate balsams instead of one amber accord plus vanilla is the whole reason this has texture where most of the category is flat and sweet, and the gurjun saltiness keeps it from cloying. It is still a heavy, resin forward fragrance that will feel like too much in summer heat, and the green tea in the heart is almost inaudible under all that resin. Cold weather.
