Strawberry opens sweet against Iranian galbanum, which is green and bitter enough to stop it turning into candy, with Iranian saffron threading metal through the middle. Bulgarian rose and Moroccan red iris give it a cool, powdery spine before leather, ebony, Pakistani nagarmotha, red sandalwood and Madagascan vanilla close it dark and dry.

KSI Take: The strawberry and saffron pairing is the hook and the iris is what keeps it from being another red fruit and leather cliche. It is a heavy wear and the galbanum can read almost sour in the first half hour, so this belongs in cold weather and in the evening rather than anywhere near a desk.
