Indian davana opens jammy and slightly boozy over sparkling mandarin and orange. Indian tuberose and jasmine sambac fill the heart, lifted by Paradisone so the white flowers stay luminous rather than heavy, and Indian vetiver, creamy sandalwood and cedarwood ground the base.

KSI Take: A genuine jasmine sambac soliflore built on real absolute, which is rarer and more expensive than the category usually admits, and the davana keeps it from reading bridal. It is unapologetically indolic in the first twenty minutes, so if you dislike that facet of jasmine this will not convert you, and it wears best on warm skin in the evening.
