Black pepper opens with a sharp, metallic edge, almost like nails and wood splinters, before smoke, charred pine and black leather take hold. Resin, patchouli and mossy wood settle it into a warm, quieter drydown that reads like the last embers of a bonfire rather than the fire itself.

KSI Take: The opening is genuinely aggressive and a little raw, more burnt wood and metal than perfume, so it is a poor choice if you want something smooth from the first spray. Wear it in cold weather, outdoors or at night, where the smoky leather has room to breathe and the extrait concentration can deliver real longevity.
