Bergamot, rosemary and aldehydes open crisp and sparkling before orris butter, rose and jasmine build a powdery, uplifting floral heart. Vetiver, oakmoss and animalic musk take over in the base and pull the whole composition into darker, earthier territory.

KSI Take: This leans on real orris and oakmoss rather than cheap substitutes, which makes it read as a serious, old world composition, but the animalic base is not for anyone who wants a clean or fresh vetiver. Wear it in cooler months, in the evening, when you want something somber and mineral rather than crowd pleasing, since it sits close to the skin once the aldehydes burn off.
