Chili pepper, bay leaf, pink pepper and peat open hot and smoky. Osmanthus, carnation, violet, Romanian tagetes, orris root and tobacco build a dark floral heart, and incense, oud, civet, Mysore sandalwood and castoreum close it animalic and regal.

KSI Take: The peat and castoreum make this the most feral thing in the Azman lineup, and the vintage floral heart is what keeps it from collapsing into a straight oud bomb. The civet and castoreum are not decorative, so anyone uneasy around animalic bases should read that as a warning rather than a selling point. Fall and winter, night.
