Tart rhubarb against balsamic benzoin, lifted by rose and vetiver.
A sparkling rhubarb accord opens bright and sour, almost crunchy, then Laotian benzoin moves underneath it with a soft golden warmth. Haitian vetiver brings woody and citrus facets, and a measured touch of rose arcs over the top without turning the whole thing floral.
Perfumed by: Quentin Bisch
Released: 2025
KSI Take: The rhubarb is the reason to try this, tangy and strange in a way that reads closer to a stalk than to candy, and the benzoin stops it short of being shrill. It is the closing chapter of Les Essences de Diptyque and the most wearable of them, though the rhubarb does flatten into the benzoin after an hour or so; a daytime fragrance for most of the year.
KSI Scent Profile: Woody · Ambery · Fruity · Balsamic · Rose
