Brazilian green mandarin and Nigerian ginger open sharp and zesty, a short burst of citrus heat. Taif and Damask rose take the heart with myrrh smoking underneath them, and Indian oud, Somali incense, guaiac wood and sandalwood build a long, resinous base.

KSI Take: The oud here is sweet and resinous rather than funky, which makes this one of the easier entry points into the category if barnyard oud has put you off before. The flip side is that experienced oud wearers may find it too polished, and the citrus opening burns off inside twenty minutes; a cold weather evening fragrance that runs eight hours or more.
