Candied angelica opens green and faintly sugared with bergamot and davana lifting it, then leather, narcissus and musk pull the whole thing toward skin. Tobacco, oud and patchouli finish it smoky and dark, so the sweetness never gets to stay innocent.

KSI Take: The trick here is the angelica, which reads bright and almost edible at first and then curdles into something animal once the leather arrives. That turn is the whole point, and it also means the first ten minutes tell you nothing about the fragrance; give it time, and wear it at night in cold weather.
