Birch tar and galbanum burn green before animalic leather settles.
Galbanum, birch tar, pine tar, clove and mint open sharp and smoky, closer to a bonfire than a garden. Violet leaf, tuberose and leather move through a green floral heart before patchouli, vetiver, hyraceum and oakmoss settle it into a mossy, animalic drydown.

KSI Take: This is a deliberately retro composition built on birch tar and animalic leather in a 1970s style, and more than one reviewer has pointed out that this kind of green herbal leather used to cost far less than the current price. Wear it in cold weather where the smoke and leather have room to develop, it has real sillage and holds most of the day, though anyone after something clean or modern should look elsewhere.
