Lavandin enfleurage, lavender essential oil, bergamot and mint open bright and herbal before clary sage, jasmine and muguet soften the sharpness into something greener. The base turns dense and animalic, with mousse de Saxe, leather, tonka and opoponax pulling the fougere into warm, resinous territory.

KSI Take: This is a maximalist, old school fougere built around an exceptional lavandin, not a modern minimalist take on the genre, and if you find classic barbershop accords cloying this will not convert you. Wear it in cool weather when you want a lavender that reads complex and grown up rather than just aftershave, and expect it to hold on skin for most of a day.
