KSI Take: This is the house original and the most wearable thing they make, clean enough for an office in a lineup that mostly is not, with a leather and oakmoss dry-down that still has some character. Two things to know before you choose it over the extrait. Performance is the recurring complaint, with projection commonly gone inside two hours. And it sits close enough to Sauvage Eau Forte that several people have said so unprompted, which is not a compliment at this price. If you like the composition, the anniversary extrait is a reworked version with the amber and leather brought forward, and it is the one worth owning.
